How to Hide Like Count on Instagram Feed

You may see a new prompt taking you right to the new post settings section, but if not you can follow the steps below to hide likes count for all posts on your Instagram feed.

  1. Open up Instagram, and head to your profile.
  2. Tap on the three-line icon at the top right corner.
  3. Navigate to Settings > Privacy.
  4. Tap on Posts.
  5. Toggle on “Hide Like and View Counts” and that’s it!

This setting applies to all the posts in your Instagram feed. If you want to see likes again, you can come back to the same setting section and toggle on the “Hide Like and View Counts”.

If you want to hide the like count for your own post you can follow the simple steps below:

  1. Tap the three-dot icon on a post.
  2. Choose “Hide Like Count”.

You can also decide to hide like counts before you share a new post.

All you need to do is tap on the “Advanced Settings” at the bottom of the screen (at the last screen that includes “Write a caption”) and turn on the toggle next to “Hide Like and View Counts on This Post”.
