If you are using extensions on Chrome, there’s another thing that you should know about using in “incognito” mode. That’s mean by default, Chrome doesn’t allow extensions to work while you on incognito. However, if you want to add extensions to work on incognito, there is a way to allow it easily.
To allow this, Go to More Tools > Extensions or try opening the extension manager page through the address bar hitting by “chrome://extensions/“.
Find an extension that you want to go, then click on the “Details” and toggle on the “Allow on incognito” to use the extension in incognito mode. Now, open an incognito window and check the settings you made.
2. Assign Keyboard Shortcuts for Extensions

These discarded tabs always stay in the tab bar, that’s mean tabs are not closed automatically and you can reload them anytime by clicking on them. It only kills the process and disables the tabs in consuming the memory.
Navigate to chrome flags settings “chrome://flags” and turn on “Automatic tab discarding” to monitor your tabs and discard the background tabs automatically. (keep in mind that flags are experimental features.) Also, Chrome maintains a memory use list at “Chrome://discards” and you can monitor and discard select tabs manually.
4. Stop Running Background Apps When Chrome is Closed

Go to chrome settings “Settings” and search for “Continue running background apps” option. Then you can toggle off the option simply. Google Chrome’s built-in downloader is something not ideal for download large files.
